ANZAC DAY DAWN SERVICES

Our student leaders proudly represented our College on ANZAC Day at the local Dawn Service organised by Riverstone RSL. It was a moving and sombre tribute to our veterans and all who have served to protect our nation’s peace and freedom.

UNIFORM SUPPLIER CHANGE

We wish to advise our College community that from 1 July, 2025 our uniform supplier will be changing from current supplier ‘Alinta’ to our new supplier ‘School Locker’. There will be no change to the College uniform, just a change in the company who supplies our uniforms.

During the period of transition there may be some issues regarding supply of some items of uniform. Should you experience any difficulty please let us know so that we can manage that appropriately. More information will be available soon regarding online and storefront purchasing options.

THANKS FOR HELPING ME GROW: A WEEK OF CELEBRATING MOTHERHOOD AT ACC

This week at ACC, we embraced the theme ‘Thanks for Helping Me Grow’ with a week of ‘Mother’s Day’ celebrations. From meaningful reflections to joyful gatherings, our community came together to honour the incredible mums and mother figures who play such a vital role in the lives of our students.

We began the week with special Chapel services that paid tribute to the mothers in our community. It was a wonderful experience as students took the stage to perform songs, readings, and reflections dedicated to their mums, many of whom were present in the audience. We also heard from one of our mums on staff, Mrs Bobbi Tiongson, who provided our Primary students with a wonderful address. The love and admiration expressed throughout both Chapels was a beautiful reminder of the deep impact mothers have on our students’ lives.

On Tuesday, we hosted a High Tea of Thanks to recognise the mothers and mother figures who support our College leaders. Leadership comes with added commitments - extra College events, public speaking, and the weight of responsibility. The women who stand behind our Captains and Prefects were celebrated for their unwavering support of our senior student leaders. The most touching moment of the day came when our student leaders shared heartfelt tributes to each of their mother figures, leaving barely a dry eye in the room.

Wednesday and Thursday continued the celebration with engaging activities for students and their mums. Families participated in a special digital activity: to read all of the heartfelt responses, please click THIS LINK. We also hope the special Mother’s Day magnet cards sent home, filled with personal reflections and loving messages from students, were warmly received and cherished.

Friday marked the highlight of our celebration with a vibrant morning tea in the forecourt. Surrounded by flowers and uplifting messages, our community came together to honour the immeasurable love, sacrifice, and dedication of the mothers and mother figures at ACC. Their acts of service, both seen and unseen, are a powerful example of love in action.

To all the mums and mother figures who nurture, support, teach, and guide our students: thank you for helping them grow
