We are so proud of all our students have achieved this year, in every facet of their lives. Read more to hear about the great results for Adrita, Josalyn, Yishay and Jesse in their end of year competitions.
Adrita (Year 1) - Dance
A huge congratulations to Adrita in Year 1 for her wonderful achievements in Dance. Last weekend, Adrita performed in the Annual Dance Competition with Creative Dance Academy at Rooty Hill West HQ. She participated in a total of eight dance routines including contemporary, tap, jazz, and ballet. She placed first in contemporary, first in jazz, and third in tap and ballet. This is a fantastic result, well done Adrita!
Josalyn (Year 9) - Dance
Well done to Josalyn in Year 9 who competed with her team at AASCF Cheer and Dance National Championships on the Gold Coast recently. They took out first place as National Champions in the Senior Level Four Division, third place in Open Level 3, and second place at Pinnacle. Congratulations Josalyn!
Yishay - Cheerleading
Yishay’s Cheerleading team has had a very successful season. They competed in six competitions leading up to Nationals where they came first in five, second in another and were also crowned Grand Champions several times with the highest score across their Division. They received a bid for Pinnacle (best of the best) at their very first comp and a bid to Atlanta in 2023 later in the year. Yishay’s team have shown immense dedication, strength and resilience throughout the competition this year and have placed third overall in Australia at the AASCF Cheer and Dance Nationals, on the Gold Coast. An amazing effort for such young athletes!
Pinnacle 2022 was an invite-only event for the top performing teams of the year where the teams must score over 95 to attend. Yishay’s team competed against eight of the best teams in Australia and came away with the win, an incredibly exciting outcome for a team that has worked so hard.
Her mother Liz noted, “Cheerleading has been incredible for Yishay and her success has been a group effort alongside her friends, teammates, coaches and her amazing gym, Oxygen Allstars. Cheer is a sport that relies completely on teamwork, persistent hard work and resilience. I am so very proud of her and her team’s achievements and can’t wait for 2023!”
Jesse Cone (Kindergarten) - Ranch Sorting
Congratulations to one of our Kindy students, Jesse (and his cousin River) for taking out First Place (Youth) in Ranch Sorting yesterday at the Camden Team Sorting and Campdraft Club. Ranch Sorting is the fastest growing horse sport in Australia and Jesse's victory continues a well-established love of the sport within his family! What an amazing accomplishment from these young ones!
