Adrita (Year 2) Blacktown City Annual Festival
Last weekend Adrita performed along with her dancing group in the Blacktown City Annual Festival. She delivered two high intensity dance performances in front of full packed of audiences and kept them entertained with her amazing moves. Well done, Adrita!
Ethan (Year 6) Baseball National Championships
“I want to be a pro baseballer for the San Diego Padres!” was Ethan's passionate remark at five years old. When walking past a local oval near his home with his mum he asked what the children were doing and his mum explained that he could also try out to be in the “Quakers Hill Pirates” Baseball Team.
Fast forward through six years of weekly training sessions, Friday games and two games on every Saturday, Ethan qualified to attend the Baseball Nationals after his team won the State Championship early this year.
Recently, Ethan had to the privilege of competing with his Rep Team "Hills Red" at the Blacktown International Sports Park where they won a silver medal at Nationals.
Ethan has big dreams to travel to the USA when he is 18 and a gain a scholarship to play for his favourite team. Congratulations Ethan for all you've achieved so far towards your goals, and thank you to your mum and dad for all the hours of support, travel and care given to support this dream!
