PARKING

Please be advised that the following parking and drop off areas are available for parents and carers of ACC students. We ask for your cooperation in being respectful of our neighbours, who deal with a great deal of traffic related to our College, and to be mindful of safety around all cars and pedestrians.

  • Street Parking on Farm Road - Please ensure you are parked with two wheels on the road to avoid a parking fine from Council inspectors. Please do not park in signed ‘no parking’ areas or in neighbouring driveways.

  • Nearby Property Driveway - The tree-lined driveway at the end of Park Road is private property, however the owners generously allow parking along both sides of this driveway, amongst the trees (please note: this is only available during fine weather as the area gets muddy and cars may get bogged). Please ensure parking does not encroach onto the remaining areas of this residence, and only park up to the gate (not on the field at the end of the driveway).

  • Car Line - Please feel free to drop off or collect your students through our Car Line. Staff members are available morning and afternoon to assist students when needed. Please follow the directions of staff to ensure a safe and efficient process.

Please DO NOT park in the following areas:

  • Car Line - please do not park or alight from your car when utilising the Car Line. If you need to walk your child to or from the College buildings, please park offsite (as described above) and walk through the pedestrian gates located at both ends of  the entrance.

  • SmartPlay Parking - SmartPlay Drop Zone spaces (located alongside A Block) are designated for parents, carers and staff of SmartPlay students only.

  • Surrounding Properties - Please do not park in any driveways or across the gates of surrounding residential properties.

ENHANCING SECURITY MEASURES AT THE COLLEGE

Please note the following changes for entry to A Block and B Block (Tech Centre):

  • Sliding entry doors are no longer auto-entry: The front sliding doors providing access into the Reception areas are no longer configured for automatic opening. They will remain closed and locked.

  • Intercom system is required for entry: All visitors seeking access to the Reception areas of the A Block and B Block (Tech Centre) buildings must utilise the installed intercom system located immediately left of the main entry doors.

We kindly request that all visitors use the intercom to clearly state their name and the purpose of their visit to the staff member on duty, who will then grant access remotely. This procedure allows us to better monitor and control who enters the secure areas of the College throughout the day, which is a vital part of maintaining a safe environment for our students and staff.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we implement these additional security protocols. The safety and wellbeing of our College community remain our highest priority.

MINISTRY CONFERENCE Alex Jacobi

Earlier this term, 66 of our Student Ministry Leaders from Primary, Secondary and Distance Education gathered together for MINCON (Ministry Conference). The purpose of MINCON is to help students become more like Jesus and to equip them to serve faithfully within our College community and beyond.

The theme for MINCON 2026 was drawn from Acts 2:42–47. This Bible passage provides a powerful picture of the early church and captures the type of culture we hope to cultivate among our student leaders: young people who are spiritually grounded in the world, relationally connected in community, and actively living out their faith in ways that influence others for Christ.

On the first day, students participated in a Q&A with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Christian Education Ministries (who oversee. During this session, our CEO shared personal insights and reflections on life, leadership, discipleship and following Jesus faithfully over the long term. This was a valuable moment for students to learn from a Christian leading a large-scale organisation, both in a professional and ministry context.

The second day, students travelled on an excursion to Prayer Mountain. Surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation, students were encouraged to slow down, listen to God, and deepen their personal relationship with Him. These moments of stillness and prayer allowed students to process what they had learned and commit the year ahead to the Lord.

It was encouraging to see our students engaging thoughtfully and wholeheartedly throughout the conference. Our prayer is that the seeds planted during MINCON will continue to grow throughout the year, bearing fruit not only in their own lives but also in the lives of those around them.

We look forward to seeing how God continues to work through these young leaders as they serve, lead, and reflect the love of Christ within our College community.
