EMERGENCY EVACUATION DRILL

Please be advised our College has completed an Emergency Evacuation Drill today. Drills are conducted to ensure that, in the event of an emergency, College staff can guide our community calmly, smoothly, and with student safety as a priority. Please ensure your students understand that today's Emergency Evacuation Drill was indeed a drill.

Should an emergency occur at the College, we will issue official correspondence.

TERM 2 UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS

As we approach the end of Term 1, please be reminded that students are expected to wear the College Formal Winter Uniform from the first day of Term 2. For more details on our Winter Uniform, please refer to our ACC Uniform Guide.

UNIFORM SHOP HOURS

As the end of Term 1 approaches, we would like to inform you that the final trading day for the ACC Uniform Shop for the term will be Thursday 10 April. 

For those who need to update their uniforms for Term 2, holiday trading hours will be available, however, we recommend that families visit the Uniform Shop before the end of Term 1 to avoid long wait times.

Please see below holiday trading hours: 

• Tuesday 15 April: 8.00 am - 11.00 am

• Thursday 17 April: 1.00 pm - 4.00 pm

• Tuesday 22 April: 8.00 am - 11.00 am

• Thursday 24 April: 1.00 pm - 4.00 pm

Regular trading hours will be resumed from Monday 28 April.

COLLEGE PHOTOS

All our families should have now received an email with information about our College Photo sessions for 2025. These will be held across three days:

• Secondary: Thursday 1 May

• Kindergarten to Year 2: Monday 5 May

• Years 3 to 6: Tuesday 6 May

Please click on this link to order your child’s College photos for 2025. 

This link will expire on Wednesday 18 June. Orders placed after this date will incur a late fee and will only allow for the purchase of a digital file of your child’s portrait.

Your child’s student code can be found by using the first six characters of their ACC email address (e.g., abc001). Please ensure that you place a separate order for each child.

Every student will have an individual photo taken for school records, irrespective of whether a photograph package is ordered. Parents are kindly asked to avoid late arrivals, early pickups or appointments for their children on their designated photo day. Makeup sessions will be arranged if your child is unable to attend school on this day.

Uniform Requirements: Students are required to wear the Primary and Secondary Full Winter Uniform, including blazers and ties. Hair should not be coloured to an unnatural colour or pattern. Hair can be pulled back using only navy or black hair ties. For more information, please feel free to refer to our ACC Uniform Guide. 

Sibling Photos: Sibling photos will take place on Monday 12 May, 2025. Only one sibling order per family is required, using the student code of your eldest child. To order your family’s sibling photos, click on the following link: Siblings Photo Form. Orders for sibling photos will close on 8 May, 2025.

OPEN DAY AT ACC

If you were at our Campus on Wednesday 2 April, you may have noticed a hive of activity and a few extra people around! We hosted approximately 500 guests at our annual Open Day, which was an opportunity for families seeking enrolment to visit our facilities and experience a ‘day in the life’ at ACC. Some of our students were involved in performing music, ushering visitors or assisting on tours. Others were simply asked to expect visitors to their classrooms, and to work well in class or move sensibly through the Campus.

We are very pleased to report that all our students represented our College in an exemplary manner and are to be commended! It was clear to our guests that our students were not ‘putting on a show’, but were showing their genuine, every day demeanour. Our guests felt so welcomed, from the time they were greeted in the carpark, to when they left the warm atmosphere of the Tech Centre Reception. Thank you to all our staff and students for showcasing the wonderful community we have here at ACC Marsden Park!

KIDS HOLIDAY PROGRAM

These school holidays, Emmanuel Baptist Church in Glenwood is running a kids holiday program for Years K-6 called ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’.
