Save the Date for ACC Carols

All students and their families are warmly invited to come and celebrate the joy of Christmas with us at ACC Marsden Park!

Our staff worship band will be singing some of our favourite carols, our students will delight us with songs and a Nativity performance, and we will hear all about the good news of Christmas. There will be food trucks and hot drinks, so bring a picnic rug and enjoy a summer evening of singing with us!

Date: Tuesday 28th November

Time: Doors open 6:30pm, Carols from 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Location: Top Field, ACC Marsden Park

More information to come. We can't wait to see you there!

‘My Christian School’

Some of you will be aware that the Commonwealth Government has recently instigated a review of the legislation that currently allows schools such as ours to provide an education that is based on the values of our faith. If approved, the proposed changes would mean that we were not able to employ staff who held the same faith-based values as we profess.

In response our representative group, Christian Schools Australia, is asking as many families as possible from as many schools as possible to share their story of how being part of a faith-based community in which all staff share the same values about ethics and lifestyle adds value to their family and is what they desire.

If you feel that way, please consider adding your story by following the links below.

Operation Christmas Child Fundraiser

Each year ACC as a community has been involved in the giving of gifts to those less fortunate than ourselves. We do this through Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child.

This involves filling shoeboxes that are sent to developing nations to share the love of Christ. The shoeboxes are used to share the gospel in countries such as Cambodia, Fiji, India and the Philippines.

As a community we have the opportunity by either packing a box as a family or contributing to items collected at school. The attached brochure will give details of what to bring and when to bring it. Boxes can be picked up from the Primary Hub and the Secondary Hub.

Donations towards the cost of the boxes can be made directly to the Operation Christmas Child appeal. Add the Code: ACCMP23 and the funds will go directly to the boxes we pack. Each box will cost $13.00 so all donations will be greatly appreciated.

Stage 5 will be hosting a fundraiser Sausage Sizzle for the Primary students on Monday 6th November 2023 (Week 5). A fundraiser will be held for Secondary on Thursday 9th November 2023 (Week 5) which will include brownies at recess with some variety market stalls and food stalls for lunch.

Thank you for joining our fundraising efforts!
