Footy Colours Day and Father’s Day Celebrations - Friday 1st September
Friday 1 September is our ‘gold coin donation’ Footy Colours dress up day for K - 12 students. We encourage all students to wear their ACC PE uniform with a sports jersey or sporting colours on top.
Donations will be collected in Home Rooms or by their classroom teachers. All money raised will go to the Fight Cancer Foundation. More information about the foundation can be found here.
This event also coincides with our ACC Marsden Park Father’s Day celebrations! We will have a ‘drive-through’ Father’s Day event that morning during ‘Kiss N Drop’.
We encourage all the dads, grandads and father figures in our community to drop their children at school that day if possible, so that we can welcome and encourage you as you drive through and give you a delicious bacon and egg roll and a cold drink as a token of our appreciation for all you do.
To assist us with catering, we ask all the men in our community who are planning to drive their kids to school that day, to please indicate ‘yes’ on this form.
Heritage Cookbook
As part of our ongoing Heritage Celebrations, we are launching an ACC Cookbook!
We invite all our families to contribute a recipe that is special to you. Alongside this recipe, please tell us why this dish is important to your family, and when you most love to enjoy it. The recipes can be sweet or savoury; entrees, mains or desserts.
A selection of recipes will be chosen, we will then ask for photos of the dishes and of the families selected, and the cookbook will be available for purchase in late Term 4. All families whose recipes are selected will receive a free copy.
If you are interested in submitting a recipe, please fill out this form with all the details required. Submissions will close on Friday 8th September - we can’t wait to read your recipes!
Traffic Rules
A reminder that if dropping off your students at school in the morning, please ensure you use the ‘Kiss N Drop’ bay inside the school gates, and do not stop on the road outside the school to drop off your children. We also remind all our families that is illegal to do a U-Turn on Farm Road. Please follow the directions of our staff team and ensure to follow all road rules in order to keep our children safe.
We encourage you to watch the video below from some of our Primary students, and read this fact sheet from Transport NSW.
