LIBRARY UPDATE

Term 3 is a very exciting time for the Library! We have two major events happening: Book Week and the conclusion of the Premier's Reading Challenge.

  • Book Week (18-22 August) The theme for Book Week 2025 is Book an Adventure! We encourage all our staff and students to dress up on Friday 22 August to celebrate, so it’s time to start thinking about what your costume could be.

We have two authors visiting our College for Book Week this year, and we are looking forward to hearing from them. Kathryn Joy MacDowall is visiting our Primary students, and Kristen Young will be working with our Secondary students.

Our annual Book Fair, run by Scholastic, will be joined by a Reformers book stall this year. More information is coming on what will be available through each supplier.

  • Premier's Reading Challenge Book Week also marks the end of the Premier’s Reading Challenge for students in Kindergarten to Year 10. If you haven’t finished reading, the holidays are a great time to catch up on those last few books!

Remember to log everything you have read. If you’re not sure what your login details are, or how to log books, please email library staff at librarymp@acc.edu.au.
