Read more to hear about upcoming parent events, a reminder for drop off and pick up procedures, and some important information about enrolling your child in SmartPlay.

Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures

For the safety of our school community and ease of traffic flow, we remind you about the following drop off and pick up procedures:

  • During drop off and pick up times, it is left-turn only in and out of the College

  • Please be mindful of all Council signs around the property. In particular, the stretch of road between our two main gates is a ‘no stopping’ zone at all times.

  • We remind pedestrians to access the school using the paths provided. For the safety of you and your children, please do not walk through the carpark or driveway entry.

Thank you for your ongoing support in these matters.

SmartPlay Registration - Before and After School Care

We are thankful to the SmartPlay team for providing such a great service to our community through their Out of School Hours program, and congratulate the team on their outstanding achievements during their recent Assessment and Rating process. This process earned the service recognition of Meeting All Quality Areas under the National Quality Standards (ACECQA).

If you would like to book your child/ren into SmartPlay, please allow at least one week’s notice to assist the SmartPlay team in processing your enrolment. Please also note that SmartPlay will commence enrolments and re-enrolments for 2023 in October this year. If you would like to place your child's name on the waitlist now for next year, please submit your enquiry through their website www.smartplay.edu.au and one of the helpful team members will be in touch with you.

MAD (Music, Art & Drama) Night

ree

MAD Night is fast approaching! We invite you to join us next week on Wednesday 17 August from 5:30pm.

The night will involve a showcase of our elective and HSC music, art and drama students’ work. There will be student performances, an exhibition of select ACC Portraiture Prize admissions, and a stage with opportunities to hear from our young artists about their pieces.

Our students have been working hard throughout the year and we are so excited about this incredible opportunity to show their work to our school community. We hope to see you there!

Father’s Day

Friday 2 September is a ‘gold coin donation’ dress up day for K - 12 students in honour of Father’s Day. We encourage all students to wear their PE uniform with a sports jersey or sporting colours on top.

We are also having a ‘drive-through’ Father’s Day event that morning during ‘Kiss N Drop’. We encourage all the dads and father figures in our community to drop their children at school that day if possible, so that we can welcome and encourage you as you drive through and give you a small gift as a token of our appreciation for all you do.

Book Week

ree

Book Week is back from 20 - 26 August!

We are excited to invite all our Primary parents to our Book Week Parade on Friday 26 August from 9:15am - 10:30am in our MPC/Gym. Please allow an extra 15 minutes for parking.

We can’t wait to see our Primary students (and staff!) dressed up as their favourite literary characters. The theme this year is 'Dreaming With Eyes Open'. Please encourage your children to bring along the book that corresponds with their costume.

We look forward to seeing you there!
