Campus Updates - New Specialist Demountable Classrooms
Over the next few weeks additional specialist classrooms will be installed at the end of H-Block, towards the back of our campus. This will include a Food Technology kitchen, two additional Art rooms and a specialist Senior Art workshop. The existing G4 Art Room will then be converted into our second Wood Technology Workshop.
We are very excited about these additional specialist teaching spaces that will help cater for the growth in Visual Arts, Food Technology and Materials Technology classes.
Secondary Encounter Night - Wednesday 14 June
Our Primary Encounter Afternoon was a huge success and we are excited to announce that our Secondary Encounter Evening is coming up on Wednesday 14th of June.
For those who are new to our school community, Encounter Night is where our Secondary School students have the opportunity to find rest, hope and peace in God through a night of prayer, praise and worship.
The Bible encourages us with this verse in Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Our hope is that each student would experience the rest and peace that can only come when we come to Jesus with our weariness and burdens.

Heritage Celebrations Postponed
As you may recall, over the course of this year we have planned a series of Heritage Celebrations that seek to acknowledge and recognise the many differences in our cultures, while focussing on celebrating the things that they all share.
In Term 1, we held our Heritage Assemblies for both Primary and Secondary school, and heard from members of our community about their cultural backgrounds.
This Term, we had originally hoped to hold an International Food Festival in the final week of term. Due to some issues regarding food safety and food handling that require further resolution, this event will be shifted to later in the year. More updates about this event to come in Term 3!
