Pedestrian Safety
We will all have been very prayerful for the community who recently faced a terrible accident involving a pedestrian and one of their buses. Such instances and the ongoing implications are so difficult and often tragic.
In light of that we remind all families to pay particular care in moving around the campus during the peak period of drop off and pick up.
We know that it can be tempting to take a short cut through the vehicle lines or through the carpark, but please do keep all pedestrian movement to identified paths, walkways and crossing.
Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures
Please also note the following reminder about how you can help our drop off and pick procedures operate safely and efficiently.
For the safety of our school community and ease of traffic flow, we remind you about the following drop off and pick up procedures:
During drop off and pick up times, it is left-turn only in and out of the College
Please be mindful of all Council signs around the property. In particular, the stretch of road between our two main gates is a ‘no stopping’ zone at all times. Please do not stop to drop your kids off in this zone.
We remind pedestrians to access the school using the paths provided, for the safety of you and your children, do not walk through the carpark or driveway entry.
Thank you for your ongoing support in these matters.
New Parent Resources Page on the Parent Portal
We want to direct you to a new page on our Parent Portal, where you can access Parent Resources. This page will be regularly updated and we will keep you informed of any new resources as they become available.
For our Secondary School families, please note that this page currently contains useful information regarding Canvas ‘Parent Observer’ accounts and our Frequent Feedback approach.

Update on Phone Call Flow - Student Absences
We have made some changes to our phone call flow to make it easier for our families to access their most-requested services. The main change is that the option for Student Absences has been moved to option 1. Please ensure you listen to all available options when calling the school, to ensure you are connected to the right department.
Student Absence Phone Process
For all on campus families, when reporting your child/ren’s absence from school please phone the school on 9421 7111, and select ‘Option 1: Student Absentee Option’.
Follow the instructions and leave a voicemail with your child/ren's name, homeroom class and the reason for being absent.
You can also report absences using the attendance email, attendancemp@acc.edu.au. If your child/ren are going to be absent for more than 10 term days, you will need to submit an extended leave application. This can be found on the Parent Portal.
