This week we are introducing you to our new Executive Assistant to the Principal - Mrs Saskia Kinene.
Tell us a bit about yourself - your background, experience, when did you start at ACC and what is your role?
I've been at ACC for one month now, as the Executive Assistant (EA) to our College Principal, Mr Brendan Corr. I came from 5 and a half years working as a Personal Assistant to an Assistant Principal in a network of Christian Schools. God closed one door and opened another, and I'm grateful to use what God has given me to serve our ACC Marsden Park community from behind the scenes.
What do you love about your job?
I enjoy working in the office of a school as it's a wonderful balance of fun and excellence. One minute you can find yourself discussing how our school culture can enhance productivity and altruism of students, and the next you can be watching a line of excitable Kindy students try to walk quietly back into class. This community is filled with vibrant personalities who are willing to intentionally work together to help the students (and staff) thrive in an authentic Christian environment.
What does a typical day look like for you, and what is coming up that you are looking forward to?
Dynamic - it's a great mix of people, paper and processes!
In terms of what is coming up - we are so excited to officially open the Admin/Tech Hub Building. Once this date is finalised, we look forward to inviting students and their families in to see the new facilities.
