This week we are introducing you to Mr Seung Yi.
Mr Yi began at Christian Education Ministries (CEM) - the ‘parent’ group of Australian Christian College (ACC) school - in 2018, where he started working in the Erina office to build curriculum content for ACC schools across the country. He has witnessed the huge growth of ACC nation-wide and taken on a variety of tasks, including being involved in national programs for numeracy and literacy, and creating curriculum content for Mathematics, Commerce, Legal Studies and Science.
Mr Yi will be known to many of our staff and students through his presence in our online courses and videos, but his greatest joy comes from “the genuine face-to-face relationships with the students you teach and for the students to build that connection with the teacher they learn from.”
In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, working on DIY projects around the house, and gathering with friends and family over good food. He loves to travel and learn about different places and people and their cultures. He loves the redemptive teaching philosophy here at ACC and the culture of the staff team.
